"Sylvia Parker" Aran Pattern for Baby

PROBABLY MY FAVOURITE CABLE….

The pattern contains instructions for a Jacket and Traditional hat to fit 18″, 20″ , 22" and 24″ chest and the end product is larger as it is a jacket. By extending the length of the arms and body on the largest size, it would easily fit a 3-4 year old. Some experience is required. Knitted on straight needles

This pattern is a lot easier than it looks. The pattern consists of 12 rows of which only one is where you need to cable so it is a lot faster than usual to knit up! I found this particular technique of cabling when I was looking for something else on YouTube. It was in a foreign language; I have absolutely no idea from where, and I watched the video over and over until I understood! I just love the unusual cable and think the rib shows it off particularly well. I intend to experiment with the cable in the future to see what I can create!
