This trendy hat is worked in the round and uses only a couple of basic stitches, making it a great pattern for an adventurous beginner. The size can be easily customized, but in order for the ears to stand up, the hat must fit as a beanie (not a slouch). The fold-up brim allows for some flexibility in the length and for extra warmth. Make it in any color(s) you choose!!
While written for worsted weight yarn, you can substitute any other yarn and matching hook, simply by making the first row to fit your head size, Hat is meant to be worn with 1-2" of negative ease.
