The guaraní (in guaraní: avañe’ẽ) It is a language of the Tupi-Guarani family spoken by approximately 12 million people in the Southern Cone of America.
It is one of the two official languages in Paraguay.
It is spoken in Paraguay, in areas of the Northeast of Argentina (Corrientes, Misiones, Formosa, parts of the east of the province of Chaco, and in isolated points of Entre Ríos). In the province of Corrientes it is an official language along with Spanish.
It is also spoken in Brazil.
Guaraní is one of the official indigenous languages of Bolivia.
