Tasseltastic, a fitting name for this fun shawl. The pattern is written and has a photo tutorial on how to create the fabulously chic tassels. The shawl is a fast and easy knit. It makes the perfect first lace project but will keep experienced knitters happy as well.
Shawl can easily made larger in length and height but of course more yardage will be needed. Blocked size: Length 46”, Height 11” without tassels and 16” with tassels.
Each tassel uses 9 yards plus 3 yards in contrasting color to wrap.
Gauge: 9 sts and 14 rows in 4” (10cm) of Garter stitch counting 7 ridges unblocked
Techniques used: Knit, purl, easy lace, color changes, stretchy bind off and tassel making.
