The pattern has a simple garter border to the edge, with rows of hearts, snowflakes, tress and reindeer motifs that will be sure to make a magical Christmas blanket.
This pattern is written out row by row, using only knit and purl stitches.
When completed, the blanket will approximately measure 29” x 32”, based on using 4mm needles and 250 grams of baby DK yarn. This is just a guide- the pattern can be knitted on any wool weight or needle size of your choice, just ensure you have enough of your chosen yarn to complete your project.
Tension Stocking Stitch: 22 sts = 10cms/4 inches. 28 rows = 10cms/ 4 inches.
You will need to know the 4 most common knitting techniques; how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.
