These cute chicks are freestanding and quick to knit. Change the yarn weight to change their size, tension/gauge is not an issue! The chicks photographed are 5.5cm/2.25in high by 4.5cm/1.75in (base) using DK yarn; and 4.5cm/1.75in high by 3.5cm/1.5in wide (base) using 4ply yarn. The pdf knitting pattern has row by row written instructions and lots of photographs. The chicks are knit flat on two needles and seamed at the back.
