It comes with instructions to make 2 different sizes, plus alternative shaping and ideas for making your bag taller. There are also instructions for adding straps, which could be either crocheted or purse straps purchased from a store or taken from an old purse. I've even added instructions for lining your purse, with two different methods for attaching the lining. For the visual thinkers, there are crochet charts included for the bottom of the purse to help show where your increases should fall, and also pictures of the bag in progress! And you'll be able to see 8 examples of the bag for inspiration. All in all the pattern is 15 pages long and chock-full of useful information.
