After teaching hundreds of complete beginners to knit in my Knitting school, I soon realised that there are so few patterns aimed specifically for this standard. Especially socks! This sock pattern only uses knit and purl, a ribbed cuff and a simple knit 2 together toe. It is knit flat on straight needles and seamed up. I guide you with diagrams and instructions every step of the way so you can't go wrong. You can choose how long you make your socks from ankle length to knee length. You can also adapt the pattern very simply fir different size calves (instructions included) After you've knit your first pair and seen how simple it can really be, you might get hooked on sock making.
