The Founding Shawl is a large triangular knit shawl, worked back and forth from the center neck toward the bottom edge. Using Harrisville Designs WATERshed - a woolen spun worsted weight yarn - this shawl is incredibly lightweight and warm as it holds plenty of air to insulate the neck and shoulders. Designed with the beginner knitter in mind, this shawl features garter stitch throughout with a short & simple lace pattern to keep its construction interesting.
