The hexagon project 2013, motif no 7

This motif is the last in the series of 7 in the Hexagon Project 2013. The theme for the Hexagon Project 2013 is lacy simplicity. All 7 designs have been published in an ebook - The Hexagon Project 2013. All hexagons are designed to be the same size so that they can be joined together and used to create a blanket or a cushion, table runner…..use your imagination! They are written for one continuous colour but can be done in many colours by changing colour at the start of each round. The motifs are suitable for those fairly new to crochet who can crochet in the round. A guide to joining motifs is included in the ebook. The size of each motif is 20 cm (8 inches) from point to point in aran weight yarn. But please note that I do crochet fairly loosely. You can use any weight yarn provided you use a suitable hook size. The pattern is written in English and US crochet terms, and is charted.
