Détails du produit

This lightweight knit shawl is made using two very old knitting stitches, both very old stitches. The faggoting stitch frames the more textured lace block pattern, and the two together create a lovely shawl. The focal stitch is a fun stitch to knit, and always looks good when completed. The one pictured is knit with undyed yarn, but almost any solid color yarn would look equally good. The finished size is 24 inches X 74 inches.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, purling, and yo’s)

The sample It was made using Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport, undyed.

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging.  (If you don't want to make the edging, you won't need crochet hooks.)

Any heavy weight fingering yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern.
