The New Jackfield Tile Tote Bag

This a detailed guide showing you how to construct a colourful and useful bag using your crochet and sewing skills. The one shown here is based on The Jackfield Tile Square (pattern available separately, inspired by the beautiful Victorian tiled manufactured in the English Midlands) - but can of course be made with any suitable square. A simple cover is put together from three pieces, then permanently stitched to an inexpensive, ready-made canvas base - a fuss-free way of adding strength, stability, shape and handles all in one go. Add some sparkly beads or a tassel to create a truly unique design!
