The Palle set consists of three patterns: Jumper Palle, hat Palle and Mittens Palle. The design of the pattern on Jumper Palle is based on the sun cross, a classical pattern from the Faroe Islands. It is easy and fast to knit due to the thickness of the yarn and if you are familiar with working a pattern. The jumper can be used year round. Hat and mittens are for cold winter days. There are different tensions for the three patterns, even if they are knitted in the same yarn. This is due to differences in the functionality of the items. The mittens has to have a tight tension in order to keep the hands warm. On the other hand, the sweater is warm as you general generate more heat on the torso, which is why it is knitted with a looser tension.
