Through the Windows is a DK weight mitten with a gusseted thumb and a fingering weight lining. The lace on the outer mitten provides a peek of the inner mitten - a surprising pop of colour. Take the mitten up a level by using a fingering weight yarn with some cashmere for the inner mitten for a super soft and extra warm pair of mittens.
This pattern is written for magic loop but is easily adapted.
Pattern requires approximately 200 yards of DK weight yarn for the outer mitten and 150 yards of fingering weight yarn for the inner mitten.
