Thyone

A wonderful cardigan to help you transition between seasons or great as an extra layer in the winter. Perfect for those not quite sweater quantities and a skein or two of a contrasting color. Slip stitch stripes add some interest, and look more difficult than they are, you are never using more than one color at a time! The top-down simultaneous set-in sleeves add a lovely tailored look with only a small amount of stitches to pick up and no short rows. Named for Thyone, one of the moons of Jupiter, which was in turn named for the mortal mother of Dionysus, who later became a goddess.

This pattern is worked from the top down, with simultaneous set-in sleeves. Once the body and sleeves are complete, the button band is picked up and worked in one piece. A shaping tracking sheet is included to help you keep track of the stitch pattern and increases. A diagram for picking up the sleeve stitches is also included.
