This double-breasted little coat comes in two versions: one more classic with its straight line and simple collar, and the other more whimsical, featuring a sweet A-line shape and rounded Peter Pan collar. The optional buttoned back tab is the perfect, delightful detail that completes the look. A breeze to knit, this pattern is written with the advanced beginner in mind.
CONSTRUCTION: This coat is worked seamlessly from the top down in one piece until underarm level. The sleeves are then separated from the body, which is worked in one piece to the hem. The sleeves stitches are returned to the needles and worked in the round. Stitches are picked up around the neckline to work the collar. An optional back tab is worked separately.
