These beautiful socks feature a fascinating cable-twist-stitch motif, which decorates the leg and then gracefully runs down the top of the foot.
They are inspired by my previous design, the Traces in the Sand shawl.
The socks are worked cuff-down in the round using the magic-loop method.
The pattern contains fully written as well as charted instructions for the cable pattern so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

One size: 64 sts, 20 cm / 8“ leg circumference, to fit with slight negative ease. Foot length adjustable.
Designed for fingering weight sock yarn. Yarn used for sample: Purl And Knit Yarns Merino Biodegradable (light fingering weight, 100 g = 430 m / 470 yds).
Gauge: 30 sts x 44 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in stockinette stitch, 32 sts x 44 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in cable-twist-stitch pattern.
Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 needles for knitting in the round with magic-loop.
