I designed this beanie for my brother in law who together with my sister is travelling to Iceland on a 4-wheel driving tour.
The patterning is reminiscent of tyre tracks, inspired by the 4-wheel drive adventure!
I hope you enjoy knitting this beanie. The pattern is a combination of knit / purl stitches and I think it would be perfect for a beginner knitter who is just starting to stretch their skills!
You can use any 8 ply / DK yarn. I used Heritage Merino Magic fleck which is a 100% wool yarn a great chunky tweed texture.
