Détails du produit

The triceratops was a huge dinosaur, that could grow up to nine metres in length – even longer than a bus! It was one of the last non-flying dinosaurs to have evolved in the Late Cretaceous Period and walking the earth when the dinosaurs were wiped out. Now it can walk the earth once more, right in your backyard!

This 20 cm triceratops is a medium project knitted on 2.00 mm double pointed needles (UK 12, US 0) in Scheepjes Stonewashed (804) boulder opal, Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120 (102) cream, (110) cognac and (168) turquoise. It asks for knitting in the round and flat, holding, transferring and picking up stitches, intarsia color work, short rows, i-cord knitting and bobbles (explained in the text). I’ve decided there’s no reason my triceratops shouldn’t glow in the dark and added a strand of Gütermann Sulky Glowy 40 (08) silver glow-in-the-dark yarn to the knit.

So, why not give this cute dino a try-ceratops? Enjoy! Viv

Notes
Safety pins can be used to hold stitches. Adding glow-in-the-dark sewing yarn from Gütermann or DMC will make your dino light up in the dark!
