Turtsie and Tartsie are in love! From the first time Turtsie set his little beady eyes on Tartsie he knew that she had to be his! This pair of turtles can be knit separately or as one unit. Each takes about 90m of the main yarn and another 45-50m of accessory yarn. It is an easy pattern but does have intarsia for the turtle shell so it is termed intermediate. Otherwise it is EASY. You can use any DK yarn for the body and shell and then eyelash or boucle for the heart. Suitable as a toy or ornament. The heart is attached to the hands with snap fasteners. Full instructions are given for all the elements: turtles,heart,hat, headband and assembly of all.
