This "one-skein" scarf was inspired by the beautiful colors in the Loops & Threads Charisma yarn I bought on sale at my local Michaels craft store for just $2.00 per skein! This is a super bulky weight yarn with 108 yards per skein. Any comparable super bulky weight yarn would work for this scarf.
If a wider or longer scarf is desired, 2 skeins of yarn can be used instead of one. Just cast on more stitches (in multiples of 2) and/or work more rows in the scarf.
For this easy-to-knit scarf, I chose a simple seed stitch to highlight the colors of the yarn (only knit, purl and slipped stitches are used). With this yarn and stitch pattern, the scarf is quick to knit, has lots of bounce and is completely reversible!
This pattern is both written and charted.
