Udfordring is the Danish word for ´challenge´.
Udfordring is a pair of socks with a flower pattern worked in 2-color double knit - worked from the cuff and down.
This pattern is made for at yarn with a yardage of approximately 400 meters per 100 grams and a 30 stitch gauge per 10 centimeters (stockinette stitch double knit). The directions is a combination of written text and charts. The socks pictured is a size small worked in hand dyed merino silk sock yarn.
Pattern includes directions for 3 sizes small (medium, large). Circumference (sock): 22 (23½, 25) centimeters. (Danish shoe sizes 35/37 (38/40, 41/43)).
Warning: These socks should not be your first experience with sock knitting or double knit.
This pattern is written for an experienced knitter with experience in double knitting as well as sock knitting, a knitter who is able to follow charts as well as written instructions, work in the round, pick up stitches and work increases and decreases.
