Under the Sea Shawl is a delightfully lightweight and deceptively straightforward lace pattern. Knit entirely in the round (and without a single purl stitch!) it creates a shawl that is easy to wear and a pleasure to knit. Using a gradient yarn brings a whole other level of impact to Under the Sea, but it would be equally gorgeous in a semisolid yarn as well.

Needles US size #4 (3.5 mm) DPN’s and circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge. Circular needles should be at least 24 inches in length to accommodate the large number of stitches in final rounds.
