Underhoull hat With this design I have incorporated a Fair Isle motif in the brim and used a simple seed pattern normally reserved for the underarms of ganseys in the main design. Please note the irregular usage of knit and purl stitches in the brim.
I would recommend using 100% Shetland wool for best results, the ultimate in keeping you warm.
The pattern is one size adult but the actual size can be changed quite dramatically using larger or smaller needle sizes. Please pay particular attention to the required tension as my knitting tends to be close.
