The topic of the design is Danish North Sea coast. Harsh weather, sea salt air and sand beaches grown with grasses inspired me a lot. I wanted to create a shawl for some walks at the sea coast, that keeps you warm from the blowing North Sea wind. Or if you are not at the sea, reminds you of that beautiful and unique atmosphere.
This knitting pattern has an easy skill level and it is suitable for knitting beginners as well as for advanced knitters looking for a relaxing project. Following knitting techniques are needed: Garter Tab (shown as a sketch in the pattern), Knitting and purling stitches, Working a yarn over, Simple Bind Off.
Following Special Techniques are shown as Tutorials (photo and text) in the pattern: Knot Stitch, Increase with left leaning (M1L), Increase with right leaning (M1R).
