These socks start off with a knitted, Picot CO that leads to a 1 x 1 ribbed cuff. The leg section may look daunting, but easily explained Caliper Cable Loops are slipped a few rows up to create that spectacular look. Because of this special construction, these socks must be knit on double pointed needles, one at a time.
Sizing 6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5)” / 16.5 (19, 21.5, 24) cm foot circumference.
Vargas socks are meant to be worn with only .5” / 1.25 cm of negative ease. When choosing the size, please keep in mind that the Caliper Cable pattern does not result in the usually stretchy sock fabric. For foot measurements of 7, 8, or 9” (18, 20 or 23 cm) make the next larger size.
