The Venetian top is a super versatile garment that can be worn as a tank top or as a vest over a collared shirt or a t-shirt. It is also perfect for layering during the colder months due to its classic fit and slightly higher neckline. The Venetian tank top is knitted from the bottom up in the round. After separating at the armholes, the upper body is knitted flat in pieces. The neck is shaped with German short rows and finished off with an i-cord bind off. The top is knitted with fingering weight yarn held double, but can also be worked with a single strand of DK weight yarn
