Stitch count matches the example top (size M) but measurements will also be included to easily adjust to the desired sizing. It is recommended to use body measurements or measurements from the non-stretch garment that has the desired fit.
Construction consists of a front and back piece that are sewn together. The front and back pieces are made from the bottom up.
There are a few variations on the mesh stitch, but in the pattern there are instructions to use chain and treble crochet stitches. When the “mesh stitch” or “mesh sts” is used in the pattern, the term is describing the number squares these stitches make. So “ch 3, skip 3 chs and tc into fourth ch” makes one square and is one mesh stitch in this pattern.
