Because it is a light, loose-fitting garment, it calls freedom to me: freedom of movement, of choice as to which sleeve shape and length to pick and how deep the neck opening to make. It’s playful with cute little tassels resembling those of traditional Ukrainian embroidered blouses.
The pattern is written for nine sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9), bust measurements are provided incl. ca 20 cm (8 in) of recommended positive ease.
Yarn: 2 strands of lace weight linen held together with 1 strand of lace weight silk-mohair or any other fingering/sport/DK weight yarn or combination of yarns to get the gauge.
Gauge: 24 sts & 30 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 3.0 mm (US 2.5) needles measured over stockinette stitch; 24 sts & 30 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) on 3.0 mm (US 2.5) needles measured over lace pattern on the hem and cuffs worked in the round after blocking.
