I wanted the yarn to be the star of this show, so I kept the construction simple. The tunic is made with two rectangles joined at the shoulders and sides with a couple of strategically placed vents and openings at the sides and shoulders for a bit of design flair. The stitch pattern is an interesting, but easy shell combined with basic filet and double crochet.
I used a fine #1 weight yarn with two strands held together, because I wanted a bit more weight and drape on the finished garment.
Size: S/M; L/XL; 2X/3X; 4X/5X
