This Christmas Tree Skirt is designed to be simple and let the yarn and the craft speak for itself. It works with rustic and elegant trees alike. The color can be changed to fit with any tree or decoration theme.
Two versions of this pattern are available for download. One option is worked flat - allowing for the tree skirts removal (which is great for dusting off pine needles). The other is worked in the round for a skirt that will lay completely flat or fir around a tree base.
The instructions for every step of this pattern are totally written out - no charting!
You could easily make this tree skirt larger by continuing to work the main body of the skirt, or even by adding stitches into the border section. Note: The pattern was Designed to be used with an artificial tree. If you use a real christmas tree, select the option that is worked flat.
