Winster is a slouchy hat worked in the round, from the bottom up. The slip stitch ribbing is added afterwards and joined to the main part as it is worked. The ribbing can be turned up to give a more fitted hat.
After a foundation half treble row, it has an easy one row repeat pattern, with one decrease round.
This is a written pattern only, and uses UK terminology.
The purple version was worked in West Yorkshire Spinners Essential DK, and has turned out very slightly smaller.
