Wrapped In Rainbows

his wrap was designed as part of Operation SJW, a collaborative effort with over 180 dyers, designers and makers of all kinds. We’ve come together in the name of social justice, to help to raise money for various charities around the world that work to help to improve the lives of members of marginalized communities around the world. I chose to make my donation to The Trevor Project, an organization that works to provide crisis management and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth. I named this wrap Wrapped In Rainbows as a bit of a metaphor for the spirit of the project, at least in my mind. We are wrapping each other in love and light and taking a stand against hatred. I hope that you’ll join me and knit a beautiful rainbow for yourself or someone that you love.
