This cozy scarf/cowl pattern is completely reversible (the same on both sides) and has a stitch pattern that is easily memorized.
The pattern includes specific instructions for a tubular cast on and bind off that will give you clean matching edges
Worsted weight scarf: 300-400yds/274-366m (~200g) Worsted weight cowl: 175yds/160m (~80g) Fingering weight cowl: 150-200yds/137-183m (~50g)
This pattern can easily be adapted to any weight of yarn in between by swatching for gauge and changing the number of stitches cast on. A simple guideline for this process is included in the pattern.
