Yippie K’Yeti is a jolly yeti, who decided to put on his little knapsack and fare west to vacation with his chummy cousin, Bigfoot. As he did not come through the tricky trek wholly unscathed, his Halloween look is already sorted!
Yippie K’Yeti stands 15 cm tall and is an easy to medium project, made on 2.50 mm (US 1.5) dpn in Scheepjes Softy (479) beige (with a strand of DMC E940 glow-in-the-dark added), Rowan Felted Tweed (157) camel and (175) cinnamon for the knapsack.
Decorating Yippie is the best part, so use your favorite scraps of yarn to make the smaller parts!
There is knitting flat and in the round, redistribution of stitches (clarified through schematics) and i-cord knitting.
At night-time Yippie has a little surprise in store: HE GLOWS IN THE DARK! Yarn brands like DMC and Gütermann have luminescent yarns in their collections.
