The Zig Cowl is the little sister to the Zig Shawl. This lightweight bandana cowl is perfect for any season! A simple garter stitch section followed by a slip stitch section really highlights the color changes of the yarn. Options for single color or a striped I-cord bind off, and a tassel! Toss this baby over any outfit and you are ready to go.
Construction: Cowl is begun with I-cord cast on, with alternating garter stitch and a fun, engaging slip-stitch pattern. Increases are made on every other row during the garter section, while an increase/decrease Zig section keeps the stitch count the same. Cowl is finished with an I-cord bind off and the sides are sewn together with Mattress stitch.
