Ziggedy-Zag is a large wrap with zig zag stripes, shaped by increases and decreases. The wrap is worked sideways along the full length (from the bottom edge to the top edge), with many stitches on the needles. The length is based on the number of stitches cast on (notes on modifications are given in the pattern). No purl stitches are used, only knit knit knit! The perfect knit for watching tv, reading or chatting.
There are 2 versions in the pattern: The slightly “advanced” version has a straight edge, acquired by short row shaping at the beginning and end of the work. Don’t be scared off by the idea of short rows – it’s so much easier than it sounds! Instructions are also given for an easier version without short row shaping, where the edges are following the zig zag pattern.
