Mandy M - Olach Designs

I am a 52 year old avid knitter, crocheter and spinner. I also enjoy sewing and dyeing my own yarn! Not enough hours in the day to do all the crafts I love! Born in the North of England, I was raised in Shetland where my love of all things crafty was encouraged. After almost 30 years away I’ve recently moved back to Shetland - it’s always been ‘home’ to me! I’ve test knitted for Kate Davies, Lesley Smith and Knit With Attitude and knitted design samples for Marie Wallin. I have recently launched my own designs under the name “Olach Designs”. Olach is the Scots Gaelic word for woolly hence the name!
