This Jazerant Set was designed for Valley Yarns by our very own Emma Welford! Knit in Valley Yarns Northfield, cables with beaded accents add interest to the ribbed fabric in this cowl and hat set. Note: Cowl and the main portion of the hat are in chart form only. The crown shaping of the hat is charted and written out.

Finished Measurements:
Hat – 20” circumference (unstretched) and 9” deep
Cowl – 28” circumference and 9” wide
Yarn Requirements: Valley Yarns Northfield (70% Merino Wool/ 20% Baby Alpaca/ 10% Silk; 50g/124yds) shown in 27 Tranquil Blue

US 6 (4.00mm) 16” circulars and DPNs
Cowl:
US 6 (4.00mm) 24” circular
Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows = 4” in ribbed pattern on US 6 (4.00mm)

original yarn recommended for this pattern has been discontinued. We suggest Valley
Yarns Valley Superwash DK Hand Dyed by Manos del Uruguay as a
substitution.
