You will need one pair of knitting needles, size 12 mm, and chunky style yarn. I used "Lion brand Wool Ease, Thick and Quick", and I was able to make the adult size shown using only one ball of 160 yards!
You will also receive a pattern for the knitted flower. Both the scarf/cowl, and the flower are knit flat with straight needles. My patterns are written without abbreviations, so they are easy to read and to follow. An easy project to work up in about one hour! The final product is a great fall or winter accessory.
