This pattern is the DK/Light Worsted version.
How do you measure the distance between friends? One of the things I love most about knitting is the fiber arts community and our ability to connect locally, regionally, and internationally both in person and virtually. The 700 Fence Posts Cowl represents these connections, depicting distance and togetherness through stitches. It is a modular cowl construction, knit on the bias, first worked flat, then joined together in the middle, and finished flat. Where the cowl meets in the middle, there is one round of simple stranded colorwork knitting, a metaphor for coming together. Otherwise, all colorwork is mosaic knitting (holding only one strand at a time, with one color per row/round).
This pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested. The pattern includes instructions about modifying for a larger size. As shown, it is styled folded in on itself, creating a customizable depth.
