Product Details
The Above Rubies Cowl is similar to my Boston Connection Cowl. It is quite heavily textured - featuring bobbles, and cables with a lacy look to them, as well as slipped stitches. It may be worn in a variety of ways as may be seen in the accompanying photos. With this design you also get to decide which is the top and which is the bottom, by how you wear it.
I used One WHOLE Caron Cake (#17005: Red Velvet) to knit the Above Rubies Cowl sample, with none to spare.
It is knitted in the round using a 60cm (24”) 6mm /USA 10 circular needle. (see notes below)

- The recommended gauge/tension for this yarn is 18.5 sts - 24 rows per 10 cm/ 4” . I used 6mm/ USA 10 needles to achieve that.
