Product Details
The acorn is the seed of the mighty Oak tree and as a symbol it traditionally means good luck and prosperity. I saw an acorn in a meditation when designing this shawl and felt like the name fitted the shape of the lace stitch. If you keep the meaning in mind while knitting you will knit good luck and prosperity into the very stitches of the wrap and it will be a beautiful affirmation practice in the same time.
Made out of 2,3 or 4 full skeins of fingering yarn, the Acorn wrap can wrap you in the size you prefer. With its garter stitch and easy lace section, this elongated triangle shaped wrap is a very fun knit. And it turns out quite elegant looking, and easy to wear, thanks to its wide “wings” it can be draped in a lot of different ways and stays put.
The Sample wrap is knitted from 4 skeins of Wool Barn yarn 365 m/400 yards per skein. Blocked it is 105 cm/41” deep. The wingspan is 280 cm/110”.
