Knit and purl are all you need to know to make this super chunky ribbed hat. However, knitting in the round is a required skill for this design in order to create a satisfying seamless design so it’s best that you have an idea of how to use double pointed (or circular) needles here. The overturned brim means your ears will be extra cosy and give you a closer fit, or you can turn the brim down for an ultra slouchy style.
