Product Details
A design I came up with after the release of my Adventology Scarf Pattern.
This is a very versatile knit, in that you can choose to make it in only one colour, or a combination of colours. You can also vary the design to suit yourself, since the stitch count stays the same throughout. I have included notes in the pattern about how you might like to vary the design.
I like to think that the top area of the cowl is reminiscent of strings of beads, often draped over trees or elsewhere in the home at Christmas. While this design may look difficult to some, the stitch pattern is a fairly simple one really. And I love the contrasting aspects of it! The ‘tree’ shaped stockinette work really well with the ‘tree’ shaped (noticeable if you look in the opposite direction) lacy areas.
