Meet Alan and Yuri, two astronaut pals ready to launch into orbit and shoot for the moon.
They can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.
This pattern includes instructions for two different uniform designs. Alan, dressed in white, is made using four colors:
- Color 1: White (65 yards)
- Color 2: Silver Heather (15 yards)
- Color 3: Red (5 yards)
- Color 4: Charcoal Grey (5 yards)
And Yuri, dressed in orange, is made using three colors:
- Color 1: Terracotta (45 yards)
- Color 2: Charcoal Grey (35 yards)
- Color 3: White (25 yards)
The astronauts are beginner-level patterns. Skills you will need include single crochet, double crochet, increases, decreases, color changes, crocheting in the front and back loops, crocheting in the bottom of a foundation chain and some seaming.
