The design features: Loopy edging, scallop openings (no casting-on/binding-off here), the wonderful and sturdy ( and well-fitting) garter stitch short-row heel, and sole short rows. Too much fun!
Similar to the incorrectly named (according to Lucy) [Bosnian Toes and Turkish Heels](http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bosnian-toes--turkish-heels) published in Knitter's Magazine, but Almost Saintly is Lucy's own leaflet version.
