Product Details
Casting on with just 3 stitches, it’s knit in a Chevron style that moves away from each other, end to end, building up to an even set amount of stitches and then tapering back down to 3 stitches for bind off. It uses nearly 4 skeins of DK weight yarn, 2 for the main colour & 2 contrasting, but you can mix it up even more by using 2 main colours, so you’ll have a different background for each half - there’s a midway point stated in the pattern where you can add extra rows in to enlarge the wrap, that’s where you could also change to your second ‘main colour’ to begin the second half. With the construction of Chevrons that work away from each other, I aimed to achieve a flexible almost boomerang-like middle of the wrap shaped by the angles created there, that makes the resulting fabric easier to curl around your neck
