This is for a pattern download. This pattern is based on the traditional Granny Square but has been adapted to a rectangle shape, which provides more practical dimensions. The downloaded pattern includes colour photos to demonstrate the steps in the pattern. The dowloaded pattern includes a printer-friendly version on pages 12-15 (which excludes the photos). The pattern is for a baby blanket size (71cm x 83cm) but it can be easily adapted to make a bigger blanket (you will need to adjust the yarn quantities to do this). The pattern uses six colours, but you can easily adapt it to include as many or as few colours as you choose. This pattern is suitable for a beginner.
