Cowl designed to use up leftover yarns from your stash. With leftovers, you can knit until you run out of yarn, and you change colour. Colourwork is “as you like”. Also beautiful in one colour and uses less than one skein of sock yarn.
Finished Measurements: Upper circumference x back depth 24” x 8” / 48 cm x 20.5 cm, 19” / 61 cm depth at front peak, after wet blocking
Yarn: 375 yds / 342 m fingering / sock weight yarn.
Sample knit with leftovers I had approx 125 yds / 110 m each of Classic Sock by Yarn Ink in Stone (Light Grey) and Slate (Dark Grey), and Tosh Sock in Scout (Pink).
Size: US size 6 / 4 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts
Notions: Tapestry needle, blocking wires (optional)
Gauge: 24 sts = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after wet blocking
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
